Another recognition of the functionality and conditions at Kolodrom Plovdiv came this time from Romania. Since the inauguration of the hall, Romanian competitors have been visiting us for training, as Kolodrum Plovdiv remains a non-analogue facility in Bulgaria and Romania.
For the first time, however, our venue will host an official competition from the calendar of another country. Moreover, our Northern neighbor chose to hold at Kolodrom Plovdiv its most prestigious forum - the National Cycling Championship.
The contestants of the most prestigious clubs north of the Danube, including Steaua Bucharest, come for training before the final weekend.
The race is expected to be visited personally by the President of the Romanian Cycling Federation, Eduard Novak, the Paralympic Champion for 2012, as well as the General Secretary of the Federation Trajan Goga.
The Romanian Cycling Federation is fully satisfied with the conditions provided by the venue, undoubtedly the best in the Balkans.
