VK Maritsa easily won the rematch against the Croatian Dinamo (Zagreb) in the decisive round for entering the group stage of the competition. The yellow-blue team defeated the game in the Kolodruma hall with 3:0 (25:13, 25:10, 25:20) and so after the clean victory in the Croatian capital in the first match, our champions eliminated their rival.
Iva Dudova was awarded the most valuable player of the match with 18 points, of which 4 were aces. Borislava Saykova scored 9 points, and Viktoria Koeva and Boryana Angelova added 8 each.
As after every volleyball match, Maritsa's players stayed on the court to take pictures with their fans and sign autographs.
Maritsa confidently advances towards the group stage of the Champions League and falls into Group “E” of the tournament, where the Polish Delepores Rzeszów, the German champion Palmberg Schwerin and the French Levallois Paris Saint-Cloud are also located.
The matches in the groups start at the end of November and will continue until February, with each team playing against each other as a home and away team.
