The record of the 1,000-meter track set by Miroslav Minchev from the Cycling Club "Sprint" at the opening of "Kolodrum Plovdiv" was beaten by Norbert Sabo from SC Intersport (1:04:13) during the Romanian National Cycling Championship on 20 and 21 October 2018. At the same time, a new national record was set for Romania in the respective discipline.
These facts are indisputable proof of the speed of the track and the opportunities it provides for new records in the future.
Moreover, trully remarkable was the presentation of the president of the Romanian Federation, Eduard Novak, first in the Olympic Sprint discipline - devoted his life to prove that the disadvantage is not a hindrance to success.
The Federation appreciated the runway and organization at Kolodruma and urged the country's National Championship in 2019 again in Plovdiv.
