The volleyball champion of Bulgaria in the female championship Maritsa (Plovdiv) lost with 0:3 games from the Turkish VitrA Instanbul in Kolodrum Plovdiv. The game was attended by more than 3 000 people and was part of the qualification campaign for the female volleyaball Champions League.
Even though the Bulgarian team lost, it was a true pleasure for the sports people of Plovdiv. The event gathered members of almost all the sport clubs in our city, such as the volleyball Victoria Volley, the basketball Academic and the football Maritsa, Lokomotiv and Botev.
The mayor of Plovdiv Ivan Totev was among the special guests of the game
The Turkish team was definitely better and deserved the win, but we are pleased to see the high spirit and desire to fight among the Bulgarian girls.
