The female volleyball team of Maritza Plovdiv crashed Drita Gnilyane with 3:0 games in a Champions League game at Kolodrum Plovdiv. As a result Maritsa qualified for the second round of the tournament where it will meet VitrA Instanbul.
The game at Kolodrum Plovdiv was attended by volleyball legends such as Kaspar Simeonov. Tsenka Simeonova, Stoyan Gunchev, Dimo Tonev, Ani Uzunova and many others. The mayor of Plovdiv Ivan Totev was also among the guests at our venue.
Maritsa played really well and won the three games with 25:13, 25:18 and 25:15!
Gabriela Tsvetanova was the highest scorer with 13 points. Silvana Chausheva came close with 11 points.
This was a fenomenal debut for Maritsa in the Champions League. The next game is on 1st of November and we will be hosting it.
