17.08.2026

Plovdiv is preparing to host one of the most significant and large-scale events for bird lovers in our country - the National Exhibition of Bulgaria - Pigeons 2026.

The prestigious forum, organized by the Federation of Pigeon Breeders and Nature Lovers in the Republic of Bulgaria, will be held over two days - November 21 and 22, 2026. The modern Multifunctional Sports Hall, better known as the Kolodruma Hall, has been chosen as the location for the event.
The hall provides excellent conditions for such a large-scale gathering of breeders, breeders, judges and fans of pigeon breeding from the country and abroad. The organizers promise a true celebration of nature and the art of selection, which will turn the city into a crossroads for experts from Europe and the Middle East. The scale of the exhibition is impressive, and within the framework of the exhibition visitors will be able to see live over 1,500 pigeons from dozens of diverse and rare breeds. The presented pigeons will be evaluated by an authoritative committee, composed of international and national judges from Bulgaria. In addition to the professional judging panel, the event is also distinguished by a serious international presence. The forum will bring together representatives and guests from a total of nine countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Hungary, Croatia and Serbia. This serious foreign interest turns the native exhibition into a key event at the international level, which will allow the exchange of invaluable experience in the field of genetics, nutrition and proper breeding of these beautiful birds.
The doors of the Kolodruma hall will be open to the general public throughout the weekend, offering a great opportunity for a family walk and a close acquaintance with the magic of pigeon breeding.
On Saturday, November 21, the exhibition will welcome guests from 10:00 to 18:00, and on the second exhibition day - Sunday, November 22, visiting hours will be from 09:00 to 13:00. The organizers invite all citizens, nature lovers and children to join this great celebration in order to experience the results of the long-term work of Bulgarian and world breeders.
Admission with ticket.
