Plovdiv hosts more and more events each year and they get better and better - sport games, cultural activities or just for fun stuff. We can only be pleased by the fact. And here we come with two major examples of what we mena.
First, in the beginning of June "Kolodrum Plovdiv" had the chance to host the first Multieuropean Taekwon-do Games, as well as the European Taekwon-do Championship for athletes with physical dissabilities. From 3rd to 10th of June more than 1400 sportsmen visited the city. You can conclude by yourself what a responsiblity that is. And it all went great!
After the end of the Multieuropean Games the attention was focused on Plovdiv once again, since a great concert was on its way. Sting and Shaggy had a gig from their world tour in the Antique Theatre. The thing that made this concert outstanding was not its organization - of course it was world class. What made it great are the people of Plovdiv who were there to sing along and prove to be one of the best crowds to perform to.
"Thank you, Plovdiv! A Fantastic crowd and a breathtaking concert place", are Sting's words, not ours.
This gives us strong sence of optimism and we are looking forward to the next shows in "Kolodrum Plovdiv". And they are promising - a tour stop of "Suhishvilli", "The No Name Orchestra" musical, "The Brit Floyd" show.
