Plovdiv will be the capital of boxing in mid-December. The news was announced by the best Bulgarian professional boxer Kubrat Pulev and his personal agent Ivaylo Gotsev. The two are currently in California, where on top of Archangel's Day (November 9) the Cobra returns to the ring with a match against Riddle Booker.

Then Pulev, his brother Tervel and Gotsev come to Plovdiv to prepare an unprecedented boxing gala. They have chosen the Kolodrum Hall and are convinced that they will give a unique show to lovers about the men's game under the hood. The exact date is yet to be chosen, but it is now known that the best part of the program will be Tervel Pulev's fight with a very strong opponent, which the organizers prefer to keep secret at this point.
The Cobra, Tervel and Ivaylo Gotsev are also preparing a series of charity initiatives ahead of the bright Christian holiday, Christmas.

"I never left the ring. Even when I was punished, I didn't stop training. I was firmly convinced that I would play at the highest level again and achieve my dream of winning the world title", shared Pulev.

"We are planning some more charity initiatives that will be announced shortly. Personally, I insist that we invite and welcome to the ring all the great champions of Plovdiv. It is a pity that some of them are not having their best days now. However, we have a duty to give them the respect they have long deserved. My success is impossible without those of my predecessors. They raised the Bulgarian amateur boxing to the highest world level. I bow to the greatness of Peter Lesov and Alexander Hristov, as well as the other great Plovdiv masters of boxing. I will be happy to get into the ring and receive the standing ovation they deserve."

"The choice of Plovdiv for the gala venue is also why we resurrect this sport in the city and the surrounding area. Let young people, children, enter the halls again. Let the halls fill up as before. And not just for high sportsmanship, but just for sports. Don't hang in front of computers, get up and go with smartphones."

"The virtual world is nice and enticing, but it is not real life. We need to bring young people back to real life and give them human values."
