Academic Bultex 99 achieved a fantastic win against Kozuf Macedonia with 88:57 in a game from the Balkan League. The team of Plovdiv was apparently in much better condition.
In all quarters Academic dominated and totally deserved to win. Our boys were so good, that the coach Darko Kostic decided to give a chance to the 14-year-old Simeon Dimitrov to play part in the win.
MVP of the game was Vasil Baichev with 20 points, followed by Daishon Knight with 15 points.
A curious and touching moment was the half time, when Academic Bultex 99 showed to the fans its team of children with intellectual dissabilities. Coached by Tina Dimitrova and Yordan Ivanov, the young boys and girls took part in tournaments in Italy and won the Special Olympics Cup in Sofia a few days ago.
