Requiem - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

For first time in Bulgaria, a classical concert aims to leave its traditional homes - opera houses and theatres. And now it aims to move into an extraordinary place - sports hall "Kolodrum Plovdiv".

On 26 of March, 2017, Genesis Orchestra, Yordan Kamdzhalov and the Musical Laboratory for Humans will present "Requiem" of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

The event will be livestreamed so that everybody around the world will be able to enjoy the show live.

Moreover, "Requiem" has a social mission. It will reach those people who can hardly afford visiting the venue or any other classical concert. In order to do so, the team behind the event will give the livestream code to social houses, such as homes for old people, institutions for parentless children, psychiatric houses.

All visual materials will be printed with a special font for people who suffer from dislexia. It is developed by Kristina Kostova.

We officially invite you to come and hear "Requiem" in a new and unique way. This project is realised in partnership with Plovdiv Municipality and is part of culture calendar for 2017.
