The Nutcracker

"The Russian Multimedia Theatre and Ballet" has created a show that synthesize the best of the Russian Ballet School and combines it with latest multimedia technology in order to provide a unique user experience. Their new program is fairytale of new kind, an entirely new perspective on telling good stories.

In the basis of the spectacle there is the canonic, classic choreography. But it is builded up with multimedia content that entirely replaces the static decoration we are used to when it comes to ballet. The decision to put 3D screens opens more space for more stories to be told, more effects to be created. Imagine all the artists showing up first at the big screens and the entering the stage in live form.

All this to make a fascinating interpretation of the classic story of The Nutcracker with the music of Chaikovsky. 

The organizers of the event share that it was their prime goal to preserve the heritage of the Russian culture by engaging younger audience. This ballet has no analogue around the world. 

According to the Panasonic shows rate, this is a production among the best in Russia for 2016. And now it tours the whole world.
