Our girls are going out for victory today on the basketball court in the Kolodrum hall! This was stated by the coaches of our national team at a special press conference today in the hall.
According to coach Tanya Gateva, women's basketball has been somewhat forgotten, but she hopes that by hosting in Plovdiv they will attract the attention of the audience. The leadership of our national team was categorical that despite the slight health problems that the team has, our players will show modern basketball and a game that will bring them victory. Assistant coaches Matea Tavich and Manuel Markov congratulated the Kolodrum hall for the excellent conditions and gave a request for further matches in it. For his part, Deputy Mayor Nikolay Buhalov thanked them for choosing them and wished the team success, emphasizing that in addition to luck, health and preparation are also necessary. "Plovdiv has given more than one name to the sport. I hope that these matches will inspire many people to want to practice this sport in order to create competition, and after it, results," said the Deputy Mayor for "Sports, Youth Activities and Social Policy" at the Plovdiv Municipality.
Tickets for households in Plovdiv are on sale at kupibileti.bg. On the day of the matches from 5:00 PM, tickets can also be purchased from the Ticket Center of the Kolodrum Hall. Admission will be free for children up to 12 years old, as well as for the organized basketball schools.
