The biggest kickboxing event in Bulgaria took place from February 21 to 23 in the "Kolodrum" hall in Plovdiv.
For the second year in a row, Bulgaria hosted the European Cup, which is part of the calendar and ranking system of the WAKO World Federation.
The competition is one of four European Cups on the World Kickboxing Federation's 2025 calendar.
Bulgaria was represented by a record 543 kickboxers competing in the seven styles of kickboxing, covering all age groups and categories.
The organizators of the event are the sports clubs Bulltras Fight Club (Plovdiv) and Star Team (Sofia), with the support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Municipality of Plovdiv and the Bulgarian Kickboxing and Muay Thai Confederation.
Entry for visitors was free for all competition days, the finals in both ring and tatami disciplines took place on Sunday.
