Founded in 1967 in Chicago, the band quickly became known for their powerful brass section and bold blend of rock, jazz and pop elements. Hits such as “25 or 6 to 4”, “Saturday in the Park”, “If You Leave Me Now” and “Hard to Say I’m Sorry” made Chicago one of the best-selling and most influential bands of all time.

They began their career with highly politically charged songs, but over time they shifted to a softer sound and in the 1970s and 1980s they created a long series of popular hits. They became one of the longest-running and most successful rock bands in the world, with over 100 million records sold.
